Bahamas Vacation Information

A Bahamas vacation is everything you think of when you think about the Caribbean and more. With an abundance of beautiful white and pink sand beaches and miles of shoreline surrounded by seemingly endless water it is the perfect location for sun and water lovers to come and relax and let the world go by.

Even though the islands of the Bahamas have an almost mystical reputation, this incredible island nation of limitless beauty is real. I know, I spent an entire month there last summer! Flying over from Florida is an absolutely breathtaking flight with the varied colors of the water and hundreds of islands. We got to see almost all of it since we were going all the way across to the far eastern island of Eleuthera.

If you are considering going to the Bahamas you may want to get a Bahamas Vacation package. This will give you much more enjoyment and will make your Bahamas vacation more worry free knowing that everything is taken care of. All you will have to do is pack your bathing suits and suntan lotion; well you may want some clothes to go out to dinner!

Some of the things you want to consider when planning your Bahamas Vacation include what type of vacation you are seeking. Do you want a vacation where there is a lot of nightlife, shopping, and places to go out for dinner? If so you may want to choose a Bahamas vacation package to a place like Nassau or the Grand Bahama Island where there is more to do than on some of the lesser populated islands. On the other hand you may want to have a Bahamas vacation that is isolated and quiet so that you feel you have the whole island to yourself. If this is your goal there are numerous islands that will meet your demands for solitude including The Exumas, Bimini, Cat Island, The Abacos, and my personal recommendation Eleuthera and Harbor Island. All of these out islands will give you some level of seclusion though on Eleuthera you will find miles of deserted beaches where you may be the only one there!

Making the choice of which of the 700 plus islands you want to go to will give you a better understanding to be able to choose a Bahamas vacation package that will work best for you. You may also want to take into consideration what kind of activities you want to participate in such as diving and fishing.
